FUGA Vice-Chancellor attends UNIMAID Veterinary Induction Ceremony

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Gashua (FUGA), Professor Yaqub Ahmed Geidam, attended the 36th Attestation and Oath-Taking Ceremony of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Maiduguri. The memorable event, held at the prestigious Muhammadu Indimi International Conference Centre, witnessed the induction of 84 new veterinary doctors into the noble profession, marking a significant milestone in their academic and professional journeys.
In his goodwill message, the Vice-Chancellor congratulated the graduating students on their remarkable achievement and commended the Faculty, University Management, parents, and guardians for their unwavering support and commitment to excellence. He emphasised the importance of professionalism, dedication, and ethical conduct as the inductees assume their critical role in safeguarding animal health and contributing to national development. A major highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of 26 prize awards in recognition of outstanding academic performance.
